      1. How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape.

      1. Chest (Most Important)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

      2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Key for shorts & pants.

      3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. Crucial for track pants and athletic shorts.

      4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

      5. Sleeve Length

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets: measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

      6. Inseam (Pants)

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg to find your ideal pant length.

      2. Fit by League (Overview)

Each major sports league designs jerseys with a distinct traditional silhouette.

League Cut Style How It Should Feel & Fit Advice
Soccer Athletic / Slim Close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a streetwear look over t-shirts, size up.
NBA Basketball Standard / Long Relaxed through chest and shoulders with an elongated hem. True to size; size up if layering over hoodies.
NFL Football Roomy / Boxy Classic oversized game-day cut with broad shoulders. Plenty of room for hoodies. Order true size or size down for tailored fit.
MLB Baseball Full / Button-Front Relaxed traditional baseball cut with extra room in chest. True to size; fits comfortably over casual layers.
NHL Hockey Very Loose / Generous The loosest cut of all leagues. Wide through body with extra-long sleeves. Never size up; order true size.

      14. Frequently Asked Questions About Sizing

What if I'm not sure which size to order?
Order the size you think fits best, then simply send us your height, chest, and waist measurements via email to jerseycare@outlook.com. Our specialists will check your dimensions before dispatch and ensure you receive the right fit.
I am between two sizes — which should I choose?
When in doubt, always size up. A slightly roomier jersey is comfortable, breathable, and easy to layer over t-shirts or hoodies. A jersey that is too tight rarely gets worn.
      Do jerseys shrink after washing?
No. Our jerseys are made of premium recycled technical polyester mesh which is dimensionally stable and pre-shrunk. As long as you wash in cold water (30°C) and hang dry, shrinkage is less than 1%.
Can I wear an NFL or NHL jersey over a hoodie?
Yes! NFL and NHL jerseys are traditionally cut roomy and boxy specifically for this game-day look. Your normal t-shirt size will easily accommodate a standard hoodie. If you wear an extra-thick fleece hoodie, consider going up one size.

      Borussia Dortmund Home Shirt 2026-2027

The test of a supporter jersey is not the first hour but the fourth. This one is built to stay comfortable well past the final whistle.

One of us owns this in two sizes — one for matchdays, one that has given up pretending and lives on the sofa.

      Why supporters pick this one
      • Mesh side panels positioned where heat actually builds
      • Twin-needle stitched hem and cuffs for longer life
      • Open-mesh side panels release heat exactly where it builds under stadium lights
      • Lightweight interlock knit — moisture-wicking finish keeps the body cool through long matches
      • Heat-applied crest and numbering that flex with the fabric

      Before you choose a size

The single most common reason for a return is expecting a player-issue fit. This is the fan cut: comfortable, forgiving, and designed to be worn for hours rather than ninety minutes.

Sweat moves through the knit instead of sitting on it, which is the difference between comfortable and clammy after an hour in the sun.

      Name & number detail

Arrives with {players} in official-style lettering across the back — a flexible heat-applied film that resists cracking through the wash.

      Design accents: Home colourway

      How it fits and feels

The silhouette is straight rather than athletic. That is deliberate — it suits more body types and layers more easily in cold weather.

Colour is dyed through rather than printed on top, so the Borussia Dortmund tones stay saturated instead of fading toward grey.

The crest edge is sealed, which is what stops it lifting at the corners after repeated washing.

      Where you will wear it

Wear it in the stands, on the sideline, or around town — it reads as team colours rather than fancy dress.

      Care and washing

Treat any mark early with cold water. Heat sets stains into polyester permanently.

      Shipping, sizing and returns

Free shipping on orders over $57 · Flat $7 shipping below $57 · Dispatched in 7-15 business days · 30-day free returns. Prices and the free-shipping threshold are converted to your local currency at checkout.

Our sizes follow the standard supporter block: room through the chest, a little extra length in the body. Check the size guide for exact garment measurements before ordering.

      Common questions
What makes the youth version different from the adult one?

Same Borussia Dortmund design, different build: Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard), plus a lighter 100% breathable recycled polyester (interlock mesh) chosen with children in mind. Printing is soft-touch rather than rigid film.

Is it packaged suitably for giving as a gift?

It ships in plain, unbranded packaging with no pricing paperwork inside, so it is safe to hand over as given.

Does the colour fade over time?

Slowly and evenly at worst. Washing inside out in cold water keeps the the dye stable far longer than warm cycles, which is what actually strips dye.
