      1. How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape.

      1. Chest (Most Important)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

      2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Key for shorts & pants.

      3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. Crucial for track pants and athletic shorts.

      4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

      5. Sleeve Length

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets: measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

      6. Inseam (Pants)

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg to find your ideal pant length.

      2. Fit by League (Overview)

Each major sports league designs jerseys with a distinct traditional silhouette.

League Cut Style How It Should Feel & Fit Advice
Soccer Athletic / Slim Close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a streetwear look over t-shirts, size up.
NBA Basketball Standard / Long Relaxed through chest and shoulders with an elongated hem. True to size; size up if layering over hoodies.
NFL Football Roomy / Boxy Classic oversized game-day cut with broad shoulders. Plenty of room for hoodies. Order true size or size down for tailored fit.
MLB Baseball Full / Button-Front Relaxed traditional baseball cut with extra room in chest. True to size; fits comfortably over casual layers.
NHL Hockey Very Loose / Generous The loosest cut of all leagues. Wide through body with extra-long sleeves. Never size up; order true size.

      14. Frequently Asked Questions About Sizing

What if I'm not sure which size to order?
Order the size you think fits best, then simply send us your height, chest, and waist measurements via email to jerseycare@outlook.com. Our specialists will check your dimensions before dispatch and ensure you receive the right fit.
I am between two sizes — which should I choose?
When in doubt, always size up. A slightly roomier jersey is comfortable, breathable, and easy to layer over t-shirts or hoodies. A jersey that is too tight rarely gets worn.
      Do jerseys shrink after washing?
No. Our jerseys are made of premium recycled technical polyester mesh which is dimensionally stable and pre-shrunk. As long as you wash in cold water (30°C) and hang dry, shrinkage is less than 1%.
Can I wear an NFL or NHL jersey over a hoodie?
Yes! NFL and NHL jerseys are traditionally cut roomy and boxy specifically for this game-day look. Your normal t-shirt size will easily accommodate a standard hoodie. If you wear an extra-thick fleece hoodie, consider going up one size.

      Borussia Dortmund Home Shirt 2024-2025

A straightforward Borussia Dortmund shirt that does what it should: fits properly, breathes properly, and looks right under floodlights.

We get asked whether these run small. They do not — but they are cut for supporters, not for the pitch, so expect room rather than cling.

      Why supporters pick this one
      • Flatlocked seams in high-friction areas to prevent rubbing
      • Open-mesh side panels release heat exactly where it builds under stadium lights
      • Opacity tested: not see-through under stadium lighting
      • Official Borussia Dortmund crest with Bundesliga colourway and trim detailing
      • Fan-version replica — same look as the Bundesliga kit, cut for everyday wear

      Before you choose a size

Compared with the authentic version, this has roughly two inches more in the body and a softer shoulder. It is the one supporters actually wear rather than the one they frame.

It will not shrink meaningfully. The recycled polyester is pre-shrunk and dimensionally stable, so a cold wash and natural dry change the fit by less than one percent.

      Name & number detail

Design accents: Stitched tackle-twill lettering, Home colourway

      How it fits and feels

The shoulders sit where your shoulders sit. Simple, but a lot of cheaper reproductions get it wrong.

Anti-pilling treatment means the surface stays clean after repeated washing rather than developing those small fabric bobbles.

Seams are flatlocked in high-friction areas, so there is no raised edge rubbing under the arm.

      Where you will wear it

Wear it in the stands, on the sideline, or around town — it reads as team colours rather than fancy dress.

A safe gift for the Borussia Dortmund supporter who already owns everything, largely because it is the home version they probably do not.

      Care and washing

A short spin cycle is enough. The fabric holds very little water, so it dries quickly without aggressive spinning.

Free shipping on orders over $57 · Flat $7 shipping below $57 · Dispatched in 7-15 business days · 30-day free returns. Prices and the free-shipping threshold are converted to your local currency at checkout.

True to size with a relaxed fit. If you are between two sizes, go down for a closer fit or up if you plan to layer. Full measurements are on our size guide page.

      Common questions
Do you offer long-sleeve versions of this jersey?

Some Bundesliga styles carry a long-sleeve variant and some do not. Search Borussia Dortmund long sleeve in our store, or contact us — we check current inventory rather than guessing.

Are the team colours matched accurately?

Borussia Dortmund hues are matched to the programme's published palette rather than eyeballed, so the shirt reads correctly alongside genuine merchandise.

Can I machine wash it with other clothes?

Fine with light garments. Avoid heavy denim and anything with zips or Velcro that can scuff the print.

      From our team to yours

Our returns rate sits low, and we would like to keep it that way — which is the honest reason we check each shirt by hand.
