      1. How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape.

      1. Chest (Most Important)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

      2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Key for shorts & pants.

      3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. Crucial for track pants and athletic shorts.

      4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

      5. Sleeve Length

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets: measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

      6. Inseam (Pants)

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg to find your ideal pant length.

      2. Fit by League (Overview)

Each major sports league designs jerseys with a distinct traditional silhouette.

League Cut Style How It Should Feel & Fit Advice
Soccer Athletic / Slim Close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a streetwear look over t-shirts, size up.
NBA Basketball Standard / Long Relaxed through chest and shoulders with an elongated hem. True to size; size up if layering over hoodies.
NFL Football Roomy / Boxy Classic oversized game-day cut with broad shoulders. Plenty of room for hoodies. Order true size or size down for tailored fit.
MLB Baseball Full / Button-Front Relaxed traditional baseball cut with extra room in chest. True to size; fits comfortably over casual layers.
NHL Hockey Very Loose / Generous The loosest cut of all leagues. Wide through body with extra-long sleeves. Never size up; order true size.

      14. Frequently Asked Questions About Sizing

What if I'm not sure which size to order?
Order the size you think fits best, then simply send us your height, chest, and waist measurements via email to jerseycare@outlook.com. Our specialists will check your dimensions before dispatch and ensure you receive the right fit.
I am between two sizes — which should I choose?
When in doubt, always size up. A slightly roomier jersey is comfortable, breathable, and easy to layer over t-shirts or hoodies. A jersey that is too tight rarely gets worn.
      Do jerseys shrink after washing?
No. Our jerseys are made of premium recycled technical polyester mesh which is dimensionally stable and pre-shrunk. As long as you wash in cold water (30°C) and hang dry, shrinkage is less than 1%.
Can I wear an NFL or NHL jersey over a hoodie?
Yes! NFL and NHL jerseys are traditionally cut roomy and boxy specifically for this game-day look. Your normal t-shirt size will easily accommodate a standard hoodie. If you wear an extra-thick fleece hoodie, consider going up one size.

      Borussia Dortmund Home Shirt 2025-2026

A good jersey earns its place by surviving a full day of it — the warm-up, the match itself, and the walk back afterwards.

If you are choosing between this and the home version, the home one is easier to wear with things that are not jeans.

      Why supporters pick this one
      • Opacity tested: not see-through under stadium lighting
      • Stretch knit moves in both directions without losing shape
      • Suitable for matchday, casual wear and five-a-side
      • Twin-needle stitched hem and cuffs for longer life
      • Drops at the back hem to stay put when seated

      Before you choose a size

Worth knowing before you buy: player versions are cut slim for the pitch and look wrong on the street. This one uses the supporter block — room through the chest, a little more length, sleeves that finish above the elbow.

Open mesh panels sit along the flank and under the arm — the places heat actually builds — while the body keeps enough density to stay opaque.

      Name & number detail

{players} edition: official-style name and number already on the back, printed with a flexible, wash-resistant film.

Design accents: Stitched tackle-twill lettering, Home colourway

      How it fits and feels

It runs true to size with a little extra room. If you are between sizes and want a closer fit, size down; if you want it over a hoodie, stay put.

Recycled content does not mean compromised feel here — the yarn is fine-gauge and soft to the touch.

Numbering uses a stretch film rated to the same elasticity as the base knit, so it flexes instead of splitting.

      Where you will wear it

Works for the match and for the training session beforehand, which is where most Borussia Dortmund supporters actually spend their time.

A reliable present for a Bundesliga fan who follows Borussia Dortmund specifically rather than the sport generally.

      Care and washing

Machine wash cold at 30°C, inside out, with similar colours. Skip the tumble dryer and the print will outlast the fabric.

      Shipping, sizing and returns

Free shipping on orders over $57 · Flat $7 shipping below $57 · Dispatched in 7-15 business days · 30-day free returns. Prices and the free-shipping threshold are converted to your local currency at checkout.

Sizing is consistent across the Bundesliga range, so if you already own a Borussia Dortmund shirt you know your size. Exact measurements are in the size guide.

      Common questions
How does NFL sizing compare to football (soccer) sizing?

Expect a roomier chest than a soccer shirt of the same label size. We list Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard) with flat garment measurements precisely because online size guessing is unreliable.

Which size should I order for a growing child?

Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard) with growth room built in. If between sizes, size up; the cut stays wearable rather than baggy.

How should I wash this jersey?

Cold gentle cycle, do not tumble dry. Washing inside out is the part people skip, and it is what actually preserves the print.
