      1. How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape.

      1. Chest (Most Important)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

      2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Key for shorts & pants.

      3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. Crucial for track pants and athletic shorts.

      4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

      5. Sleeve Length

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets: measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

      6. Inseam (Pants)

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg to find your ideal pant length.

      2. Fit by League (Overview)

Each major sports league designs jerseys with a distinct traditional silhouette.

League Cut Style How It Should Feel & Fit Advice
Soccer Athletic / Slim Close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a streetwear look over t-shirts, size up.
NBA Basketball Standard / Long Relaxed through chest and shoulders with an elongated hem. True to size; size up if layering over hoodies.
NFL Football Roomy / Boxy Classic oversized game-day cut with broad shoulders. Plenty of room for hoodies. Order true size or size down for tailored fit.
MLB Baseball Full / Button-Front Relaxed traditional baseball cut with extra room in chest. True to size; fits comfortably over casual layers.
NHL Hockey Very Loose / Generous The loosest cut of all leagues. Wide through body with extra-long sleeves. Never size up; order true size.

      14. Frequently Asked Questions About Sizing

What if I'm not sure which size to order?
Order the size you think fits best, then simply send us your height, chest, and waist measurements via email to jerseycare@outlook.com. Our specialists will check your dimensions before dispatch and ensure you receive the right fit.
I am between two sizes — which should I choose?
When in doubt, always size up. A slightly roomier jersey is comfortable, breathable, and easy to layer over t-shirts or hoodies. A jersey that is too tight rarely gets worn.
      Do jerseys shrink after washing?
No. Our jerseys are made of premium recycled technical polyester mesh which is dimensionally stable and pre-shrunk. As long as you wash in cold water (30°C) and hang dry, shrinkage is less than 1%.
Can I wear an NFL or NHL jersey over a hoodie?
Yes! NFL and NHL jerseys are traditionally cut roomy and boxy specifically for this game-day look. Your normal t-shirt size will easily accommodate a standard hoodie. If you wear an extra-thick fleece hoodie, consider going up one size.

A straightforward Borussia Dortmund shirt that does what it should: fits properly, breathes properly, and looks right under floodlights.

Buying for someone else? The chest measurement is the only number you really need. We handle the rest.

      Why supporters pick this one
      • Drops at the back hem to stay put when seated
      • Open-mesh side panels release heat exactly where it builds under stadium lights
      • Shoulder seams set forward to avoid strap friction
      • Heat-applied crest and numbering that flex with the fabric
      • Ships worldwide with tracking on every order

      Before you choose a size

The single most common reason for a return is expecting a player-issue fit. This is the fan cut: comfortable, forgiving, and designed to be worn for hours rather than ninety minutes.

It will not shrink meaningfully. The recycled polyester is pre-shrunk and dimensionally stable, so a cold wash and natural dry change the fit by less than one percent.

      Name & number detail

The back carries {players} official-style name and number, heat-applied with flexible film that stays soft and resists splitting.

Design accents: Stitched tackle-twill lettering, Home colourway

      How it fits and feels

Fan cut means looser than the player version: more room in the body, a slightly longer sleeve, and a drape that works over a t-shirt.

Breathability comes from the knit structure rather than a coating, so it will not wash out over time the way chemical finishes do.

Heat-pressed detailing is applied at a lower temperature than usual, which reduces the stiff patch feel some replicas have.

      Where you will wear it

Works for the match and for the training session beforehand, which is where most Borussia Dortmund supporters actually spend their time.

Comes in standard packaging that survives international shipping without arriving crushed.

      Care and washing

Thirty degrees, inside out, and away it goes. Avoid fabric softener — it clogs the wicking channels in technical knits.

      Shipping, sizing and returns

Free shipping on orders over $57 · Flat $7 shipping below $57 · Dispatched in 7-15 business days · 30-day free returns. Prices and the free-shipping threshold are converted to your local currency at checkout.

Our sizes follow the standard supporter block: room through the chest, a little extra length in the body. Check the size guide for exact garment measurements before ordering.

      Common questions
Will the fabric be see-through under stadium lights?

No. The 100% performance poly-spandex interlock is opacity-tested under bright light, so the body stays solid rather than going sheer under floodlights or in photographs.

Which size should I order for a growing child?

Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard) with growth room built in. If between sizes, size up; the cut stays wearable rather than baggy.

      What detergent should I use?

A standard mild liquid detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener — softener coats the mesh and noticeably reduces breathability.
