      1. How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape.

      1. Chest (Most Important)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

      2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Key for shorts & pants.

      3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. Crucial for track pants and athletic shorts.

      4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

      5. Sleeve Length

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets: measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

      6. Inseam (Pants)

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg to find your ideal pant length.

      2. Fit by League (Overview)

Each major sports league designs jerseys with a distinct traditional silhouette.

League Cut Style How It Should Feel & Fit Advice
Soccer Athletic / Slim Close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a streetwear look over t-shirts, size up.
NBA Basketball Standard / Long Relaxed through chest and shoulders with an elongated hem. True to size; size up if layering over hoodies.
NFL Football Roomy / Boxy Classic oversized game-day cut with broad shoulders. Plenty of room for hoodies. Order true size or size down for tailored fit.
MLB Baseball Full / Button-Front Relaxed traditional baseball cut with extra room in chest. True to size; fits comfortably over casual layers.
NHL Hockey Very Loose / Generous The loosest cut of all leagues. Wide through body with extra-long sleeves. Never size up; order true size.

      14. Frequently Asked Questions About Sizing

What if I'm not sure which size to order?
Order the size you think fits best, then simply send us your height, chest, and waist measurements via email to jerseycare@outlook.com. Our specialists will check your dimensions before dispatch and ensure you receive the right fit.
I am between two sizes — which should I choose?
When in doubt, always size up. A slightly roomier jersey is comfortable, breathable, and easy to layer over t-shirts or hoodies. A jersey that is too tight rarely gets worn.
      Do jerseys shrink after washing?
No. Our jerseys are made of premium recycled technical polyester mesh which is dimensionally stable and pre-shrunk. As long as you wash in cold water (30°C) and hang dry, shrinkage is less than 1%.
Can I wear an NFL or NHL jersey over a hoodie?
Yes! NFL and NHL jerseys are traditionally cut roomy and boxy specifically for this game-day look. Your normal t-shirt size will easily accommodate a standard hoodie. If you wear an extra-thick fleece hoodie, consider going up one size.

      Borussia Dortmund Home Shirt 2025-2026

Some shirts are for photographs. This one is for actually wearing — long sessions, long days, and everything in between.

A customer told us they bought it for a birthday and ended up ordering a second one for themselves. That happens more than we expected.

      Why supporters pick this one
      • Colourfast dye that holds through repeated washing
      • Odour-resistant finish — better than cotton over a long day
      • Sizing consistent across the full Bundesliga range
      • Printed neck tape instead of a scratchy woven label
      • Machine washable at 30°C — no special care required

      Before you choose a size

Worth knowing before you buy: player versions are cut slim for the pitch and look wrong on the street. This one uses the supporter block — room through the chest, a little more length, sleeves that finish above the elbow.

It will not shrink meaningfully. The recycled polyester is pre-shrunk and dimensionally stable, so a cold wash and natural dry change the fit by less than one percent.

      How it fits and feels

Side panels are shaped rather than straight, which keeps the shirt from looking boxy on slimmer frames.

Smooth on the outside, lightly textured on the inside. The contrast helps it sit off the skin rather than against it.

The crest is heat-applied rather than embroidered, which keeps it flat against the body and stops it scratching under a jacket.

      Where you will wear it

Lighting is unforgiving on colour, so the Borussia Dortmund shade is matched deliberately rather than approximated.

If you are buying for someone else and unsure on size, the chest measurement is the only number you really need.

      Care and washing

Treat any mark early with cold water. Heat sets stains into polyester permanently.

      Common questions
Is this suitable for wearing to a match rather than playing in?

Designed for the stands, not the pitch. a relaxed regular fit built for all-day wear layers over a tee and stays comfortable through a full match plus the walk afterwards.

Should I order my usual size or size up?

Your usual size works — a relaxed regular fit built for all-day wear already includes wearing ease. Only size up for heavy layering.

Can it go in the tumble dryer?

Best avoided. High heat degrades heat-applied lettering faster than anything else. Hang it to dry and it will outlast the season comfortably.
