      1. How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape.

      1. Chest (Most Important)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

      2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Key for shorts & pants.

      3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. Crucial for track pants and athletic shorts.

      4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

      5. Sleeve Length

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets: measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

      6. Inseam (Pants)

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg to find your ideal pant length.

      2. Fit by League (Overview)

Each major sports league designs jerseys with a distinct traditional silhouette.

League Cut Style How It Should Feel & Fit Advice
Soccer Athletic / Slim Close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a streetwear look over t-shirts, size up.
NBA Basketball Standard / Long Relaxed through chest and shoulders with an elongated hem. True to size; size up if layering over hoodies.
NFL Football Roomy / Boxy Classic oversized game-day cut with broad shoulders. Plenty of room for hoodies. Order true size or size down for tailored fit.
MLB Baseball Full / Button-Front Relaxed traditional baseball cut with extra room in chest. True to size; fits comfortably over casual layers.
NHL Hockey Very Loose / Generous The loosest cut of all leagues. Wide through body with extra-long sleeves. Never size up; order true size.

      14. Frequently Asked Questions About Sizing

What if I'm not sure which size to order?
Order the size you think fits best, then simply send us your height, chest, and waist measurements via email to jerseycare@outlook.com. Our specialists will check your dimensions before dispatch and ensure you receive the right fit.
I am between two sizes — which should I choose?
When in doubt, always size up. A slightly roomier jersey is comfortable, breathable, and easy to layer over t-shirts or hoodies. A jersey that is too tight rarely gets worn.
      Do jerseys shrink after washing?
No. Our jerseys are made of premium recycled technical polyester mesh which is dimensionally stable and pre-shrunk. As long as you wash in cold water (30°C) and hang dry, shrinkage is less than 1%.
Can I wear an NFL or NHL jersey over a hoodie?
Yes! NFL and NHL jerseys are traditionally cut roomy and boxy specifically for this game-day look. Your normal t-shirt size will easily accommodate a standard hoodie. If you wear an extra-thick fleece hoodie, consider going up one size.

      Borussia Dortmund Home Shirt 2024-2025

The test of a supporter jersey is not the first hour but the fourth. This one is built to stay comfortable well past the final whistle.

We get asked whether these run small. They do not — but they are cut for supporters, not for the pitch, so expect room rather than cling.

      Why supporters pick this one
      • Official Borussia Dortmund crest with Bundesliga colourway and trim detailing
      • Lightweight interlock knit — moisture-wicking finish keeps the body cool through long matches
      • Creased? It falls flat on a hanger without ironing
      • Printed neck tape instead of a scratchy woven label
      • Dispatched within 7-15 business days

      Before you choose a size

Compared with the authentic version, this has roughly two inches more in the body and a softer shoulder. It is the one supporters actually wear rather than the one they frame.

It will not shrink meaningfully. The recycled polyester is pre-shrunk and dimensionally stable, so a cold wash and natural dry change the fit by less than one percent.

      Name & number detail

Official-style {players} lettering is pre-applied across the back with flexible heat film, so it survives repeated washing without peeling.

Design accents: Home colourway, Stitched tackle-twill lettering

      How it fits and feels

Cut with a little ease in the waist. It will not cling, and it will not make you look like you borrowed someone else's shirt.

Colourfast to a standard that holds up after thirty domestic washes without visible shift in the Borussia Dortmund shade.

Heat-pressed detailing is applied at a lower temperature than usual, which reduces the stiff patch feel some replicas have.

      Where you will wear it

Wear it in the stands, on the sideline, or around town — it reads as team colours rather than fancy dress.

Good for birthdays, better for the person who mentions Borussia Dortmund in every conversation.

      Care and washing

Wash with the collar buttoned and the shirt turned inside out. It reduces stress on the placket and protects the crest.

Sizing is consistent across the Bundesliga range, so if you already own a Borussia Dortmund shirt you know your size. Exact measurements are in the size guide.

      Common questions
How does NFL sizing compare to football (soccer) sizing?

NFL blocks are boxier; soccer shirts taper more. At Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard) this sits between the two. If you own European kits, check our measurements before ordering.

Which size should I order for a growing child?

Start from Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard) and consider one size up if they are mid-growth-spurt. Chest measurement is what actually matters.

How should I wash this jersey?

Cold gentle cycle, do not tumble dry. Washing inside out is the part people skip, and it is what actually preserves the print.
