      1. How to Measure

Take these measurements over a thin t-shirt (never outerwear), standing relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape.

      1. Chest (Most Important)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under the armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and don't puff your chest out.

      2. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Key for shorts & pants.

      3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and glutes. Crucial for track pants and athletic shorts.

      4. Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

      5. Sleeve Length

For long-sleeve jerseys and jackets: measure from the shoulder seam down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

      6. Inseam (Pants)

Measure from your crotch straight down to your ankle bone along the inside of your leg to find your ideal pant length.

      2. Fit by League (Overview)

Each major sports league designs jerseys with a distinct traditional silhouette.

League Cut Style How It Should Feel & Fit Advice
Soccer Athletic / Slim Close to the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a streetwear look over t-shirts, size up.
NBA Basketball Standard / Long Relaxed through chest and shoulders with an elongated hem. True to size; size up if layering over hoodies.
NFL Football Roomy / Boxy Classic oversized game-day cut with broad shoulders. Plenty of room for hoodies. Order true size or size down for tailored fit.
MLB Baseball Full / Button-Front Relaxed traditional baseball cut with extra room in chest. True to size; fits comfortably over casual layers.
NHL Hockey Very Loose / Generous The loosest cut of all leagues. Wide through body with extra-long sleeves. Never size up; order true size.

      14. Frequently Asked Questions About Sizing

What if I'm not sure which size to order?
Order the size you think fits best, then simply send us your height, chest, and waist measurements via email to jerseycare@outlook.com. Our specialists will check your dimensions before dispatch and ensure you receive the right fit.
I am between two sizes — which should I choose?
When in doubt, always size up. A slightly roomier jersey is comfortable, breathable, and easy to layer over t-shirts or hoodies. A jersey that is too tight rarely gets worn.
      Do jerseys shrink after washing?
No. Our jerseys are made of premium recycled technical polyester mesh which is dimensionally stable and pre-shrunk. As long as you wash in cold water (30°C) and hang dry, shrinkage is less than 1%.
Can I wear an NFL or NHL jersey over a hoodie?
Yes! NFL and NHL jerseys are traditionally cut roomy and boxy specifically for this game-day look. Your normal t-shirt size will easily accommodate a standard hoodie. If you wear an extra-thick fleece hoodie, consider going up one size.

      Borussia Dortmund Home Jersey 2024-2025

A good jersey earns its place by surviving a full day of it — the warm-up, the match itself, and the walk back afterwards.

If you are choosing between this and the home version, the home one is easier to wear with things that are not jeans.

      Why supporters pick this one
      • Shoulder seams set forward to avoid strap friction
      • Odour-resistant finish — better than cotton over a long day
      • Flatlocked seams in high-friction areas to prevent rubbing
      • Recycled polyester knit with moisture-wicking finish
      • Official Borussia Dortmund crest with Bundesliga colourway and trim detailing

      Before you choose a size

Compared with the authentic version, this has roughly two inches more in the body and a softer shoulder. It is the one supporters actually wear rather than the one they frame.

It will not shrink meaningfully. The recycled polyester is pre-shrunk and dimensionally stable, so a cold wash and natural dry change the fit by less than one percent.

      Name & number detail

Official-style {players} lettering is pre-applied across the back with flexible heat film, so it survives repeated washing without peeling.

      Design accents: Relaxed regular fit

      How it fits and feels

It is a forgiving fit. Broad shoulders, a longer torso, a bit of extra weight — the pattern accommodates all three without looking shapeless.

Mesh panelling is positioned along the flank and under the arm where heat actually builds.

Care and size information is printed inside the neck instead of on a sewn-in label that can be cut out and leave a hole.

      Where you will wear it

Equally at home on match day and out of it, which is the point of a supporter jersey rather than a costume.

Order early — home kits in popular sizes tend to move faster than the home version.

      Care and washing

Wash inside out on a cool cycle and hang to dry. Heat is what kills heat-pressed lettering, not friction.

True to size with a relaxed fit. If you are between two sizes, go down for a closer fit or up if you plan to layer. Full measurements are on our size guide page.

      Common questions
How does NFL sizing compare to football (soccer) sizing?

American cuts run visibly wider through the chest than European football shirts — often by 5–8 cm. This one follows Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard), so measure rather than assume your usual size transfers.

Should I order my usual size or size up?

a relaxed regular fit built for all-day wear runs true to Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL (true to US/EU standard). Order usual size for the intended fit; size up only if layering over a hoodie.

Will the numbers fade faster than the shirt itself?

Both fade at similar rates when washed cold. Heat exposure is what creates visible mismatch.
